Situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Pemberton in the cool, south west corner of Western Australia, our new purpose-built accommodation offers a unique style of escape.​

Our Accommodation

We provide a new 2 bedroom retreat with queen beds fitted with electric blankets for those cooler winter nights.  Our accommodation features:

  • Bathroom (with bath and shower) and separate toilet.

  • Quality linen, towels and electric blankets provided.

  • Heated towel rack.

  • Self-catering with fully equipped modern kitchen - all you need to bring are immediate food requirements (we do, however, provide complimentary muesli and cereal, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, home-made biscuits plus a fruit bowl).

  • Comfortable lounge and dining with TV/DVD.

  • Reverse cycle air-conditioning, and heating available in bedrooms.

  • Cosy log fire in winter which will ensure your stay is comfortable and warm.

  • Wireless Internet access.

  • Baby's cot and high chair available on request.

  • The accommodation offers splendid views of the gardens which has been open to the public in the Australian Open Garden Scheme and Festival of Country Gardens.

  • The 6 acre property features several stands of majestic ancient grass trees - some as tall as 4 metres, a large lake with fountain, winding walk tracks and is surrounded by karri trees which are the third largest trees in the world. Our garden display includes many cool climate plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas, mollis azaleas, many varieties of deciduous trees as well as Australian Natives.

  • There are benches throughout the garden where you can just sit and absorb the serenity of your surroundings.

  • Be captivated by the early morning mist hovering over the lake at dawn.

  • We would be happy for you to celebrate your wedding in our garden and, with sufficient notice, would be prepared to plant annuals to suit your colour scheme.

Bookings and Enquiries

Our Guests are enjoying the exclusiveness of the accommodation, retiring in the evening to a cool evening breeze out on the deck or to the warmth of our wood fired lounge with a glass of local wine.

We offer a 2pm afternoon check-in and a 10am morning check-out, though we are happy to suit your individual needs. If you require specific arrangements or would like to place a booking you can contact us by email, telephone or, alternatively, use the form below to enquire.

Our quality self-contained accommodation sleeps 4 and our rates are $160 a night for one or two people, plus $35 a night per extra person. The rates increase to $180 a night for one or two people, plus $35 a night per extra person over the peak Christmas, New Year and Easter periods.

Getting Here

Pemberton is located approximately 335 km south of Perth.

The Kwinana Freeway and new Forrest Freeway make the journey a cruisy 1 1/2 hour trip to Bunbury, then you turn left along the South West Highway, travelling through the charming country towns of Donnybrook, Balingup, Bridgetown and Manjimup. Drive straight through Manjimup for a further 15km then turn right onto the Vasse Highway heading towards Pemberton. Travel for 12km, then turn left into Browns Road. Drive for 1.2km (passing the Lavender and Berry Farm on the left) turn left at the next road - Plackett Drive.

Things to Do in Pemberton

Pemberton has a huge number of attractions suited to all ages. Why not explore some of the following while visiting the region:

  • Big Brook Dam with its soaring Karri trees - safe for swimming and a beautiful sandy beach - great for picnics - there is a 4km walk around the dam.

  • The Pemberton Tramway experience - take a slow tram ride through the beautiful Karri forest in an old fashioned open tram with experienced guide.

  • Two lookout trees which visitors can climb to the platforms in their upper branches - the Gloucester Tree is 61 metres high and the Bicentennial Tree, 75 metres high.
